schema:text A large green cardboard box with flip-top opening issued inside a brown cardboard box titled 'De ou par Marcel Duchamp or Rrose Sélavy. Boite serie G, 1968. Designed and edited by Mathieu Mercier' (or 'Boîte-en-valise : grande boîte'). Supplied with the box is an A4 'Handle with care' sheet instructing users how to carefully open the item. Once opened, the box reveals a middle section which stands upright, below this, the base section contains a separate flip-top section (32 x 25 cm) containing loose sheets. The middle section comprises of various reproductions of Duchamp's work ; firstly you are presented with 'La Mariée mise à nu par ses célibataires, même (1915-23' - this is recreated on clear acetate. Hanging beside this are miniature 3D reproductions of '50 cc air de Paris' [a clear plastic vial], 'Underwood' [black card with gold text] and the 'Fountain' urinal [white plastic]. At the back of the middle section are two pieces of card, which are removed by carefully sliding out. The folded larger of the two, complies various images of Duchamp's work such as 'Nu descendant un escalier' (1912) ; the single card also includes various images including '9 moules malic' (1914). The base section comprises of a fixed section with flip lid, once opened it contains [16] folded sheets consisting of colour reproductions of his work. The back cover contains the following text: 'Les œuvres provenant de la collection Arensberg sont maintenant la propriété du Philadelphie Museum of Art auquel Louise et Walter Arensberg. L'ont léguée en 1954.' Also attached to the base section is an image of 'Why not sneeze' (1921). On the left hand side is a folded facsimile image of '3 stoppages élalon' (1913-14).
