It is an invaluable Hizen porcelain collection, with a focus on Arita ware produced in the first half of the Edo period. It also includes Nabeshima ware exclusively made at the Nabeshima official kiln established by the Saga clan in Imari City, Yoshida ware from Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture and Hasami ware from Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture."--Museumwebsite.
