schema:text "This anthology is one of the outcomes of a cooperation project between three museums in Africa and Europe--the Uganda National Museum in Kampala, the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara (south-west Uganda), and the Ethnographic Museum at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. It resulted from a conference of museum scholars and practitioners in December 2016, which aimed at discussing experiences and expertise in museum cooperation between Africa and Europe. The conference was hosted by the Ethnographic Museum at the University on behalf of the Swiss Society for African Studies in cooperation with the Swiss Anthropological Assocation."--Page xi.
