That manual was revised and augmented by Knecht and Jules Desportes in 1850 (see Twyman, Lithography, p. 264). The present work, while still based on Bregeaut, is largely a new work, completely rewritten and incorporating the subjects listed in the title above. It is listed in Twyman’s bibliography, p. 267.
