"With the Corpus European Tapestries in Dutch Public Collections, the RKD presents a richly illustrated and commented overview of all tapestries and tapestry-woven objects in Dutch public collections. The initiative originally came from Elisabeth J. Kalf, in the 1950s. After her death, it was continued by C. Willemijn Fock. Their work resulted in the publications Waar legwerk hangt by Elisabeth J. Kalff, and European Tapestries in the Rijksmuseum by Ebeltje Hartkamp-Jonxis and Hillie Smit. With the completion by Hillie Smit of the description of all remaining tapestries and tapestry-woven objects in Dutch public collections, the RKD will make the entire corpus digitally available in RKD Research and via an RKD Study in 2024."@en
