"Every three years the European Pépinières organisation launches a residency program for artists under 36 years old. The application is set up as an international competition. Laureates are offered a grant for a working period at residential art centers and art institutes throughout Europe and Québec in Canada. The Pépinières residency program is set up in close collaboration with national, regional and municipal authorities. Host institutes are responsible for training and for the presentation of the artists' projects. The cities where the host institutes are located, offer the artists' accommodation.
