That evening, they arrive in The Hague. He comments on the city being the political centre of the Dutch Republic, and mentions that on Sunday the mass can be heard from the house of the ambassador from Spain. He describes the palace of the Prince of Orange and its garden. They lodge at the House of Gentlemen, and the next day leave for Delft."
