"The traveller arrives near Goeree on January 20, 1690, but because of the bad weather and the ice, the boat cannot come near the coast. William III decides to board a small boat with a few other people, and is not heard of for several hours, until he arrives in Goeree. They are welcomed for the night at a local's house. The local magistrate gives him his compliments."
