"On August 22, Haller takes a boat to Franeker and discusses with a Frenchman. Haller is not impressed by Franeker. He visits the Stadhouder of Friesland and describes the house where he lives. He recalls their conversation and the people attending. He then wants to visit Mr. Heineccius, but the latter is sick. He is visited by the Frenchman he met on the boat. He then goes to Haarlingen."
