"In Honselaarsdijk, Sidney finishes his letter to the Earl of Sunderland. On September 8, he has lunch with the Heer van Ouwerkerk, and is then visited by the burgomaster. On September 10, William III sends him to Van Beuningen, and Sidney finds him unwilling to conclude peace. Sidney goes to Breda where he meets the Princess and the Prince. On September 11, he visits Breda's fortifications with William III, and mentions the soldiers' salary."
