"The Uffenbach brothers are in Amsterdam visiting the VOC-accountant De Jong. He shows them his collection of naturalia. In one of the cabinets, Uffenbach sees the book Konst der Stuur-lieden. De Jong tells them he was assisting the tsar in producing a Moscow translation of the book. He further shows them to a cabinet filled with shells that he wishes to sell; Uffenbach describes the most remarkable."
