"The Uffenbach brothers are in Amsterdam visiting the woman collector Del Court. In her collection, Uffenbach describes antique coins. Del Court tells them that she purchased the entire cabinet of mayor Tacquet in Leiden. Uffenbach compares Del Court's knowledge with the apothecary wife Cronenberg, and comments on the lack of interest and knowledge of Del Court's husband. The next morning, the brothers visit the mennonist merchant Lambert ten Kate. He shows them his collection of sculptures."
