"The Uffenbach brothers are in Amsterdam, on a visit to Jacob de Wilde. De Wilde shows them a manuscript of Chronodistichis, verses about friends and special occassions illustrated with emblems by De Wilde's daugther. De Wilde shows them his gems and modern coins, including one minted by the East India Company in De Wilde's birthyear 1645; they had seen the same coin at Von Uchelen."
