"In Amsterdam, the Uffenbach brothers are visiting Gosuinus Uilenbroek to see his collection of antiquities and art. He shows them his collection of prints and another version of the "Caroussel", hand-coloured by Van Santen. Uilenbroek thought that his copy was the best, but Uffenbach prefers the one in the collection Van der Hem. Uilenbroek offers Uffenbach several statues for sale, but his prices are too high. That afternoon they visit the Preussian historiographer Johan Friedrich Kramer, to see a specific codex in his possession, but he tells them he does not have it."
