"Uffenbach is in Amsterdam, visiting the public library to see the manuscripts he could not see on previous visits. He describes them in detail, catalogue in hand. Since it is getting dark outside, Uffenbach has to stop his viewing of the manuscripts. The next day, the Uffenbach brothers visit David Bramen to see his good collection of prints, including many by Rembrandt, but not the honderdguldenprent. Uffenbach explains this name and describes the print. Bramen shows them Ecce Homo and Descent of the Cross by Rembrandt in print. Further, he shows them works by Albrecht Durer, Altegrave [Aldegrever], Georg Penzete and the complete Passion of Christ by Lucas van Leyden in duodecimo."
