That afternoon they return to the public library; Uffenbach wants to see specific manuscripts kept locked away that he saw in the catalogue. The order and cataloguenumbers do not correspond. Uffenbach starts describing a manuscript of Aristoteles' Ethica, including an opening miniature of Aristotle falling asleep on his writing desk."
