"In his inn in Leiden, Lucä continues fighting the two brothers who attacked his friend. His friend finally manages to incapacitate one of the brothers, but the other brother bites Lucä's hand. Lucä manages to get away. They are soon separated by witnesses, and the two brothers thank him for intervening, promise to reconcile with his friend and to forget about the incident. Several days later, however, his friend is once again attacked in front of the university. Lucä supposes the attack was set up by the same brothers, and learns that the innkeeper is the cause of this dispute. He decides to move out."
