"Still in Katwijk aan Zee, Lucä explains by fair weather, people often come to gather mussel shells to make lime mortar. He recalls having trouble to get near the sea one day because of the bad weather. In the city, he is shown an abnormally long shoe, then meets its owner, who is dressed in Turkish clothes and is extremely tall. He also sees a Dutch woman who is almost as tall. He notes that one can find small crabs on the beach, that are delicious to eat."
