"In Amsterdam, the Uffenbach brothers visit the Theatrum Anatomicum. Uffenbach describes the ceiling of the anatomical theatre. The brothers then continue to the merchant Sope to inquire about the medals and manuscripts left by council Wasserbach - he tells them to write to his widow in the County of Lippe. In the afternoon they visit the pearl cutter Isaac Roeners. Uffenbach comments on him as smelling like alcohol and describes his work, including a nautilus. The next day the brothers visit the merchant Jan Raillard to see his corals, but he had sold or given away everything."
