"The Uffenbach brothers are in Amsterdam and go see two theater plays. The next day, they visit the instrumentmaker Metz in the Kalverstraat. Uffenbach's brother picks up his order. Metz shows them a special Astrolabe he had made in commission of the tsar. The Russian tsar had visited his workshop and according to Metz preferred his products over those made in England."
