"Uffenbach is in Leiden, and compares its orphanage to the one in Amsterdam. The next morning the brothers visit the Kleermakersgildehuis on the Papegracht to see the table that was used by the Anabaptist self-proclaimed king John of Leiden. He refers among others to Misson (vol. I, Lettre II, p. 20) and Benthem (Orte, p. 101). Uffenbach describes the table. The room is adorned with many beautiful paintings. The guide points the brothers to engraved portraits of John of Leiden and Berend Knipperdolling."
