"The Uffenbach brothers are in the Theatrum Anatomicum in Leiden. The Theatrum Anatomicum hosts public lectures four times a week by Senguerd, althoug De Volder's lectures had more attendance due to his more artful experiments. As they leave the academy building, they pass by the university printing house Elsevier, owned by city councilor Daniel Elzevier. That evening they see Molière's "The Miser" and the night play "Loon na het werk". The next day they visit the library, where by chance they encounter the librarian prof. Senguerd and are therefore able to see some manuscripts, especially the Codices Vossiani."
