"In Leiden, the Uffenbach brothers are viewing the collection of De la Court. They enter the garden, where Uffenbach admires four vases with the four seasons designed by the young Van Mieris and cast by Van der Mey. Then they visit Van Mieris in his home. They pass through a small room with several paintings by different masters, but nothing special according to Uffenbach. Upstairs he could only show them several of his own pieces."
