"On August 3rd, Kiechel leaves Dordrecht by boat and describes the flooded landscape along the way. He then arrives in Arnemuiden, which he describes. He stays until noon, then goes to Veere and describes the city. He then goes to Middelburg, recalls its history and briefly describes the city. On August 5th, he goes to Vlissingen, which he describes, recalling it to be one of the main political seats of Willem de Zwijger, and describing how the tide often floods the land."
