"The Uffenbach brothers are getting ready to leave The Hague. Uffenbach lists the cabinets he was not able to see: the cabinets of Block and Kogelaer, the antique stones of the late Schuylenburg (they had seen prints of these in Rotterdam at Engelbrecht), the paintings of Viouw van der Leur and the jew Levi and the "famous but frivolous paintings by Oudaans". The weather prevents them from seeing the surroundings of The Hague. The academy and manege praised by Misson (vol. II, p. 14) are no longer of interest."
