"Uffenbach is visiting the catholic priest "Dissing" in The Hague, who discusses having had 4000 guilders offered for a set of 7 drawings in his collection, including two originals by Michelangelo. He shows the Uffenbach brothers the paper-cut art of his cousin [Johannes van Achelom]; Uffenbach comments on their quality and compares them to the examples he saw in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The priest also had several beautiful paintings. Uffenbach describes one small square panel of one by one foot with the suffering of Christ in a landscape, in the sky laid with several Florentine stones. The owner believes the maker is Callot."
