"The Uffenbach brothers are visiting Van Belle in Rotterdam. Uffenbach comments on Van Belle's habit of drinking only coffee and adds that he does look quite healthy. After a late lunch they attempt to visit Dr. Luffin again, but they are half an hour late. They visit Mr Flinck, son of one of the most famous painters in Holland who had left him so much after his death that he did not have to work. Uffenbach describes his house, furniture and collection of statues, busts and heads (Flinck assures him they came from the collection of the Duke of Buckingham). Uffenbach praises a small one from alabaster he called a Telesphorum and refers to figure X [RKDexcerpt no. 776471] to illustrate this."
