"The Uffenbach brothers are visiting the room of an alumnus of the Oudemannenhuis in Rotterdam, a certain Engelbrecht from Aken. The brothers are amazed with the quantity and quality of his art. One of the most beautiful was a lifesize naked woman by Van der Helst. The man tells them that he received several bids of 700 guilders for this work. Uffenbach mentions further a small oval portrait by Van Dyck and several small well-made landscapes. In two cabinets he kept many sculptures; Uffenbach starts describing several of these."
