"The Uffenbach brothers are visiting the bookshop 'Fritsch and Böhm' in Rotterdam. Uffenbach comments on several books, a manuscript and their prices. The brothers go to see the house where Erasmus was born; Uffenbach describes the facade: a portrait of Erasmus with inscriptions on both sides in Dutch and Latin. He refers to text by authors Oldenburger (III p. 863) and Monconys [RKDexcerpt no. 766776], who only mention the Latin inscription."
