"In the barge from Maassluis, the Uffenbach brothers pass by Schipluiden. Uffenbach comments on the herrlichkeit [fiefdom] of Von Wou. They stop in Delft and lodge in an inn next to the Rotterdammerpoort. The next day they embark the barge to Delfshaven, and continue from there to Rotterdam. In Rotterdam they lodge in the Doppelten Sleutel, as they did in June 1710. They visit several bookshops; Uffenbach describes the house sign of one of these. The next morning they visit the bookshop 'Fritsch and Böhm', partly to buy books and partly to inquire about scholars, libraries and such."
