"The Uffenbach brothers travel by wagon from Amsterdam to The Hague. On his way, Uffenbach notes a banning post with inscription and date 1624. The wagon passes by Noordwijk, Katwijk aan den Rijn and Wassenaar. They spend an hour in the latter. They arrive in The Hague at ten o'clock in the evening, and lodge well at the inn "Landgraviate of Kassel". The next morning is Sunday, and they go to church."
