"In Zwolle, the Uffenbach brothers visit the Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk. Listed by Marperger as sight of interest, the church was now in a state of decay. The brothers visit the shop of the bookdealer and publisher Gerrit Tydeman on the Markt. Tydeman shows them a large stock of prints and engravings, as well as paintings and mathematical instruments. He tells them he used to be painter, and still desired such things. Uffenbach mentions as excellent the following paintings: a view on the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, a still life with food and several marines. Then Tydeman brings them to the printing office."
