"Uffenbach completes noting down the inscription on the grave of Menno van Coehoorn in the church in Wijckel. This inscription includes the information that Coehoorn's children had the monument made. Uffenbach notes the plate on the wall mentioning the recent death of Coehoorn's daughter. She was married to the 'grietman' Scheltinga. Uffenbach explains the word 'grietman' and makes a connection to the English language."
