"The Uffenbach brothers are still at Hilarides's house in Bolsward. He shows them a small cabinet with "charits mnemoneuritco-lusoriis": maps and plates regarding heraldry,geography, ethnology, eblematica, famous women, etc. Uffenbach comments on the fact that it was not thought through, because it did not include the "Juristische Charte" by "Van der Stryk" and several other plates from Nuremberg. The next morning the brothers visit the Martinikerk. Uffenbach describes the beautiful pulpit: the carved oak structure is adorned with foliage, fruit, and respresentations of the four seasons. He comments on the very realistic statue of an eagle that functions as the foot of the pulpit."
