He explains that Anglo-Saxons from Holstein and Lower Saxony mixed with inhabitants of Friesland, before arriving in England, and that English stems from Anglo-Saxon. Franciscus Junius had spend three years in these villages [Hindeloopen and Molkwerum] to study their language. The Uffenbach brothers return home and get ready to depart from Franeker. Uffenbach lists the professors that they did not meet; he regrets especially not having met Bos and Muys because they were both out of town. The others had no interesting book collection."
