sdo:abstract "In Franeker, Uffenbach describes the book collection of law professor Schultingh. Uffenbach mentions a book by Cujas given to Schultingh's father by Scaliger, who had written something in it. On their way home, the Uffenbach brothers pass by a house with a sign with two dromedaries painted on it. They enter the house for a few stuivers to see the animals. Uffenbach comments on the difference between camels and dromedaries, and refers to the engraving in the travel description of Thévenot. The next morning, the brothers go to the coffeehouse visited also by Monconys."
