"The Uffenbach brothers are in Dokkum, in the library of the rector Lambergen in Dokkum. Lambergen shares provenance information about one of his books, mentioning that he bought it cheaply at an auction while the same book was valued at 100 carolus guilders in Erasmus' time. In the afternoon, the Uffenbach brothers wish to visit the priest to inquire about Zeiler's claims regarding the Codex Bonifatianus and other artefacts in the cloister, but as he was not home they left him a note. They go for a walk on the city walls, which was covered in trees. Uffenbach comments on the city, the cityhall, the miserable chimes and the two churches. When they arrive home, the priest had answered that he could not confirm Zeiller's claims. Finally, the brothers leave by barge to Leeuwarden."
