"The Uffenbachs are in a bookshop in Dokkum. Uffenbach mentions in one of the books an illustration by Matham of the murder of Saint Boniface [Bonifatius/Bonifacius] and the waterspring. Uffenbach asks the bookdealers about local scholars with book collection, and he recommends "Lamberge". Lamberge is the rector of the Latijnse School. Uffenbach meets him the next morning. Uffenbach does not believe Gallois's statetement (in: Traité des bibliotheques) that the manuscript of the "Gospels of Saint Bonaficius" is in Dokkum, and Lamberge confirms his believe. Uffenbach comments on the fact that there is no public library in Dokkum, except at the church."
