"In Leiden, Fürst describes several curiosities in the anatomy theatre, and mentions the embalmed pidgeons in the city hall, explaining how they were used as messengers during the siege of Haarlem. He then visits the workshop of a famous tailor, but does not deem anything else worth mentioning. He leaves Leiden for Rotterdam on August 19th."
