"In Naarden, Blainville finishes recalling the history of the city during the 1672 war with France. He arrives in Amersfoort and recalls the history of the city. Between Naarden and Amersfoort, he describes the changes in the landscape on the way, describing the cultures, and noticing the former home of Frederick V of Bohemia. Arriving in Arnhem, he manages to bribe the guard into letting him pass the gates after hours. He then starts describing the city and its political function."
