"The traveller visits David van Molem's silk factory and gardens. He is then unable to reach his inn by boat because of a collapsed dike and has to go on foot on an unpleasant road. The next day, he attends mass and describes the church, as well as a park outside the city. He then moves on to a general description of the city."
