"Instructions to make cement. Take common salt, copperas mix, red tile (well ground and sieved) and mix. Make a bed with the resulting powder, lay a sheet and cover with more powder, lay another sheet and repeat this operation as many times as you wish. Place between two concave tiles, cover with lute and let dry. Once dry, put upon a soft fire, and leave for two or three hours."
