"In St. Jacob church (Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk), Hegenitius reads the inscription on the cenotaph of Janus Dousa (1505-1604). He then announces his next stages: Rijswijk, Scheveningen, Leusden and Voorburg. Arrived in Rijswijk, Hegenitius remembers the city as the location of the stable of the Prince of Orange. There, he also remembers rare species of birds and deers from India."
