"In the City Hall (Curia), Hegenitius describes the bell tower (and the pleasant sound it makes). Inside the building, Hegenitius comes to see some works by Cornelis Engebrechtsz. (c. 1462-1527) and Lucas van Leyden (1494-1523). Among the listed works: an "Adoration of the Magi" (anonymous), the tapestry representing the Siege of Leyden by Joost Jansz. Lanckaert (1537) and the "Last Judgement" by Lucas van Leyden (1527) whose sale was refused by the citizens, despite the offer made by the emperor Rodolph II."
