"Hegenitius goes on reading the account left by Bernhard Hoornkens and Petrus Pappus von Tratzberg, about a soldier who lived for days with a wound in the heart (see p. 16-18). Once in Leeuwarden, Hegenitius remembers the governor (stadhouder), Ernest Casimir I, Count of Nassau. In the city, Hegenitius didn't see anything outstanding, according to him. He nevertheless reads some epitaphs."
