He comments on the music played by the various carillons in the city and describes various buildings (Beurs, Oude Waag and Nieuwe Waag, Oudemannen- en vrouwengasthuis, Burgerweeshuis, Kartuizerhofje, Rasphuis, Spinhuis, and various hospitals), including references to their functions and interiors with artworks.
