"Jacop Fransz, representing Master Jacob de Leeu, cantor, sues Gerryt Quyrynsz, timber merchant, demanding delivery of a rack the defendant sold him, for which the plaintiff had paid 6 stuvers for drinks when the contract was concluded – the plaintiff promises to provide proper bonded contract. Or else the plaintiff demands payment of 12 Karolus guldens, plus costs. The court ordered the parties to consult with each other and experts to reach an agreement; failing that, they were to return to court with the experts. On 8 March, the case was postponed until the next court session."
