"David Egbertsz, representing Cornelia Jansdr in Alkmaar with her guardian, sues Marie Jorysdr, widow of potter Jan Willemsz, with her guardian, claiming that Marie bought a house and lot with a potter’s workshop and potter’s tools for 1000 karolus guldens , and another house and lot in the Ketelboeterssteeg for 320 karolus guldens, which were sold by the church masters of the Sint Pieterskerk in Leiden, and demanding half of the houses and money , according to the conditions made. The defendant should therefore bring to court the contract and bond of half the amount, or pay 800 karolus guldens, plus costs."
