"Costus Jacopsz, representing Pieter Jacopsz Goetcoep, Jan Gerytsz Storm, and Tryntgen Pietersdr alias Zey, sues Geerloff Pietersz, potter, Lambrecht Baerntsz, baker, Jacop the sailmaker, and Willem Franssen, with their associates, stating that the defendants sold Cornelis Mathysz a house and lot on the Middelste Gracht called “De Nel,” with its furnishings, all of it belonging to the brotherhood of the Nel, without consulting the plaintiffs or giving them their share. The plaintiffs demand payment of their share or each defendant to pay £ 2. The case was postponed a fortnight in hopes of reaching a settlement."
