"David Egbertsz, representing Cornelis Woutersz, goldsmith, sues the former and present officers of the confraternity of St. Michiel in the St. Pancraes Kerk in Leiden, demanding payment for a silver statue of St. Michael commissioned by them, or else payment of 100 Karolus guldens, plus costs. On 22 November, the court decided that if the defendants swore they had commissioned the piece for 14 Karolus guldens, they could pay that, which they swore on 2 December. On 9 December the court ordered the defendants to appear in court with the payment of 14 Karolus guldens and the plaintiff to bring the statue to court."
